What is the
difference between "eBook Conversion" and "eBook Sales"?
eBook Conversion is for authors who have a manuscript and would like
it converted into one of the standard eBook formats.
eBook
Sales is for authors and publishers who have a completed eBook that's
ready for sale.
How do I submit my
manuscript to eBookMall?
Visit our
eBook Conversion area and read through the instructions. We've tried
to include as much information as we can so that authors like yourself who
might not yet be familiar with eBooks can learn about the system.
You can look over your different conversion
options and learn what our
guidelines are for submitting materials. Then, when you're ready, fill
out the
order form.
I already have my book in eBook format.
Do I still need to pay for an eBook Conversion?
If you have an eBook that is one of the
formats that we sell, there isn't any need for us to convert it, so you
can go ahead and
submit it. Take a look at the
guidelines first.
If I add my eBook to eBookMall, will you
promote it for me?
As much as we would like to, eBookMall
can not individually promote each of the 125,000 eBooks on our website. We
do our best to promote the website as a whole. Targeted marketing for each
niche audience can be done by authors/publishers.
How do I sell my
eBook at eBookMall?
Go to the
eBook Sales area, look over the
Guidelines, then fill out and submit the
eBook Sales Submission Form.
How do I update my email/password/mailing
address?
After your eBooks have been added to
eBookMall, you will be able to
login to your
account to see your sales statistics and update your information.

I'd like to have my book converted into
an eBook. What do I do?
We are accepting most
original English-language manuscripts
for eBook Conversion. Go to our eBook
Conversion section and follow the steps listed there. You can also
look at our eBook Process Overview.
Do you
publish paperback or hardcover books?
No. At this time we are
specializing in eBooks.
I have
written some poems and would like to get them published. What do I do?
Go to our eBook
Conversion section and follow the steps listed there. You can also
look at our eBook Process Overview.
If I
send a sample of my writing, will someone review it for publication?
We accept most manuscripts, so there's usually no need for us to review anything first.
This is basically a self-publication program. Our eBook Conversion
service is exactly that - we convert your manuscript into an eBook.
There's no reason for us to be choosy, since it's a service that you're
ordering and paying for.
Since our service is a conversion service, we are generally not the
people to ask about the quality of writing, editing, or proofreading.
Authors should pursue that kind of help from other sources, and return
to eBookMall when their eBook is ready for publication.
Can you
give me a list of publishers?
No. We simply do not have
any information about other publishers or companies. We will be happy to
give you information about the services that eBookMall offers.
If you
convert my eBook, am I required to sell it at eBookMall?
Not at all, but you are
welcome to. The "eBook Conversion" process is completely separate from the
"eBook Sales" process. If you have had your manuscript
converted into an eBook at eBookMall, it will not be automatically sold at eBookMall. If you would like to sell it
at eBookMall you can submit an eBook Sales submission form.
What's the difference between all these eBook formats?
Each eBook format has its own
features, qualities, and advantages. Different formats are made to be
used on different types of computers of handheld devices. Read through
our eBook Formats page for more
details.
Which eBook format should I get?
The eBook Formats
page will help you decide. The most important things to
consider are whether your book has lots of pictures, charts, or graphs,
if you'd like to use any special typesetting, and if you'd like your eBook to be compatible with
handheld devices, such as Pocket PCs and Palms.
How should I prepare my manuscript?
We have a page of guidelines

Is there a discount for bulk orders?
Yes. Fill out our Bulk
Conversion form for a quote.
Do you
accept manuscripts in languages other than English?
We only accept manuscripts
in English.

How do I submit an eBook to eBookMall?
Go to the
eBook Sales area, look over the
Guidelines, then fill out and submit the
eBook Sales Submission Form.
How do I remove my eBook from eBookMall?
Use the
Contact Us form to request this. Let us know the title and author of
the eBook, and we will remove it.
Which eBook format sells the best?
Our bestselling eBook
formats are Adobe Reader, Microsoft Reader, and Mobipocket. Take a look at
our
eBook Formats page to get more information.
If I sell my eBook on your site, can I sell it on other websites as
well?
Yes. eBookMall operates
with a non-exclusive agreement. Just make sure the other websites you're
interested in do as well.
How much does it cost to have an eBook listed on your site?
If you are listing eBooks
one at a time, there is a $19.95 listing fee for each title. You can
also use our
Bulk
Distribution system to list as many eBooks as you'd like, for a
one-time up front fee of $99.95. Both of these listing fees can be paid
online with your Visa or MasterCard.
What if I have my eBook in more than one format?
If your eBook is in more than one
format, then you only pay the $19.95 listing fee once. The submission
form will allow you to specify which eBook formats your eBook is in. If
you're using the Bulk Distribution system, there is only the $99.95 fee,
regardless of which formats your eBooks are in.
What percentage of sales do I get? Are there any hidden fees?
You will earn 50% of all sales. There
are no extra fees.
Where
will my eBook be sold?
eBooks submitted to us are
sold at www.ebookmall.com.
What
is the method of payment for commissions?
Commission is paid by
check. Checks are sent out on a quarterly basis.
What
if I live in a country other than the United States?
You are welcome to list
your eBook on our site for sale. All sales are made in US dollars, and
all commission checks are sent in US dollars.
I'm a publisher with many eBooks. What's the best way to list of them on
your site?
If you have 5 or more eBooks, the best
way to list them at eBookMall is to use our Bulk
Distribution system. You will prepare a spreadsheet that we can
integrate into our database. You can download a full set of instructions
and a sample spreadsheet so that you know exactly what to do. It's a
very straightforward process.

What kind of services does eBookMall
offer for promotion?

Do you promote eBooks individually?
As much as we would like to, eBookMall
can not individually promote each of the 125,000 eBooks on our website. We
do our best to promote the website as a whole. Targeted marketing for each
niche audience can be done by authors/publishers.
eBooks sell the best when their author or publisher is actively
promoting them. We are always developing ways to market all of the
eBooks at eBookMall as a whole, but all authors and publishers should
promote their eBooks as much as they can.
Will you feature my eBook on any key web pages?
Most eBooks are randomly chosen to be
featured around the site. If your eBook is about a certain subject that
you feel is currently a hot topic, let us know and we can try to feature it.
